Netstat collects statistics from one file server at a time. The name of the current file server is displayed in the status box above.
If you are connected to more than one file server select this option to change to the file server you want to get statistics from.
You can also login and logout from other file servers using this option.

EXPORT STATISTICS LOG HELP
This option lets you output the data gathered in a statistics log file in one of two common data exchange formats: Comma-delimited or Tab- delimited.
These formats can then imported into a database or spreadsheet program for further analysis of network performance or statistics.
Consult the NetCompanion manual for the order or the data fields in the exported files.

This is a list of servers that are available to you on your network, but you are not yet logged into these servers and can not access them.

If you are required to use a password, you will also be asked for it. As you type your password it will not be displayed on the screen as a security precaution.

Format :
Two types of formats are available - Comma delimited or Tab delimited. Comma delimited separates each data field with a comma, while tab delimited uses the ASCII tab character, 9 decimal. Use tab delimited if you are exporting the data to a word processor and comma delimited to a data base or spreadsheet.

Press Y for Yes or N for No. Selecting Yes will place an initial entry with a the name of the field in each location at the begining of the file.

Lines that start with the "
" are directory entries. Pressing <Enter> while the bar is on these entries will display the statistics files in that directory.

Set the time and day for Netstat to begin and end collecting statistics. Times may be specified in 24 hour format or with an "am" or "pm" following the time.

Interval :
This is the time that Netstat will wait between statistics sampling. Intervals may range from 1 second to 99 hours. The smaller the interval the more data points you will collect, and the more disk space you will use.
To change the Interval unit, use the cursor keys to move the highlighted area over the current unit and press <Enter>. Make a selection from the displayed list.

Enter the name of the statistics file to create. If you wish to overwrite an existing statistics file, press the <Ins> key while editing the file name.
